Invisible Girl

'Invisible Girl' is told through three POVs, Saffyre, Cate, and Owen. The plot centers around the disappearance of Saffyre Maddox, a young girl struggling to cope with life outside of therapy, and how she starts to follow her former therapist, who seems to have secrets of his own.

Okay, this was an interesting read. I keep going back and forth on my feelings because I liked the setting and Saffyre's character development, but reading from Owen's POV was a struggle, and I felt like there were moments when the story dragged on. BUT, I did want to keep reading to find out the ending, so that says something.

What I loved:

  1. The neighborhood setting

  2. The twists

  3. Angelo the cat

While the suspense kept me engaged, certain aspects left me yearning for a more satisfying resolution. If you like dark mysteries that take a deeper look at societal issues, then this one is for you.
