Lightfall: Shadow of the Bird

"Lightfall: Shadow of the Bird" marks another thrilling chapter in the captivating journey of Bea and Cad as they navigate the mystical world of Irpa. Probert weaves a tale filled with adventure, humor, and heart, drawing readers deeper into the enchanting landscape of this fantastical realm.

Returning to the magical world of Irpa is an absolute delight, and the action was in high gear for this one. The plot moves quickly, with plenty of twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. Bea and Cad were wonderful, and I enjoyed seeing them continue their journey. Cad is such a cutie patootie. I love his sunshine personality!

What I loved:

  1. Bea and Cad's dynamic

  2. Bea's bravery

  3. The Arsai

One of the highlights of this book is the continued growth of Bea and Cad's friendship. Their banter and camaraderie bring warmth and humor to the story, while also showcasing the depth of their bond. It's heartening to see Bea's character development as she faces increasingly challenging situations with courage and determination. Plus, the introduction of new characters, like the blunt Arsai, adds richness to the world-building and keeps the narrative fresh and engaging.

The only downside? I want these to be longer because I have to know what happens! AH! 😩
