Naked in Death

Diving into the futuristic world of Lieutenant Eve Dallas, 'Naked in Death' introduces readers to a gritty mix of crime and romance. As Eve investigates a string of high-profile murders, she finds herself entangled with the mysterious Roarke.

While the blend of police procedural and romance is intriguing, I found the pacing to be a bit uneven. Eve's complex personality and Roarke's charm kept me hooked, but I felt like the mystery reveal was okay.

What I loved:

  1. Eve Dallas' strong character

  2. The futuristic world-building

  3. Eve + Roarke

In the end, this was a good mystery, romance book that left me in a good place to leave the characters. Did you know that there are 59 books in this series!? I didn't. I don't think I'll be continuing. That is too much for me to handle. HA!
