Love, Theoretically
I LOVED this book! Also, @plummertherese's narration was TOP-NOTCH! I will listen to any book this woman works on.
'Love, Theoretically' follows Elsie, a theoretical physicist juggling the complexities of academia and a side hustle as a fake girlfriend. Elsie's carefully constructed world faces a seismic shift when she encounters Jack, the older brother of her favorite client and the experimental physicist who tarnished her mentor's career.
This book was fantastic. The witty humor, the banter, the tension, and the chemistry (yes, I am using this science pun again) was top-tier romance. Elsie and Jack created a relationship I was dying to see unfold. Could not put it down (or I guess stop listening in this case - HA!).
What I loved:
Elsie + Jack
The banter and tension
The quirky internal monologues
I am completely sold on @alihazelwood's writing style and can't wait to read more of her work. (I jumped right into Check & Mate after this one). She will be an author I go back to time and again.
Excuse me as I go to the bookstore and buy a copy for my shelf.
