This is How You Lose the Time War

What a whirlwind! Diving into the intricate world of time, 'This is How You Lose the Time War' unfolds like a poetic dance of timelines. Confusion, be damned – the vivid imagery painted by El-Mohtar and Gladstone is captivating, making even the most perplexing moments a delight.

Red and Blue, our time-traveling protagonists, stole the spotlight with their wit and complexity. The letters/messages between Red and Blue were the best parts, showcasing their personalities and growth. The unfolding of their love story is a delightful journey, making the novella an interesting exploration of emotions across the ages.

What I loved:

  1. The Vivid Landscapes

  2. Red + Blue

  3. Futuristic Setting

Even though there were many moments where I was confused, this novella is a short, impactful read that weaves romance and sci-fi seamlessly.
