What I loved:
ANSWERS
Xander Hawthorne (I love his energy)
Max’s curse words
What I loved about this book is it didn't dwell on the "love triangle" trope. Because of this, it allowed the story to focus on its plot and character development. Avery's journey of self-discovery and her quest to untangle the web of her lineage, kept me hooked. I loved finding out answers to questions that were left open in the first book. Plus, I felt like I learned more about the side characters, which made this world feel more expansive and rich (pun intended).
What's great is that I was so satisfied with this ending that I almost didn't feel the need to continue the series. However, I figure there are a few things that could use some explanation so here I go!
